On March 23 and 24, 2021, Family & Consumer Science Education, Early Childhood, Fashion Design and Teacher Cadet students will apply their knowledge of family and consumer sciences at Michigan FCCLA’s Annual State Leadership Conference. I would like to invite you to serve as a evaluator to assist in evaluating the student’s skills. Educators and community leaders are needed as evaluators on March 23 and 24, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  All competition will take place online using the Zoom platform.

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA, formerly FHA-HERO) is a dynamic student-centered organization that serves more than 200,000 middle and high school students across the nation and is truly The Ultimate Leadership Experience. FCCLA’s competitive events program consists of practical, relevant educational activities that are tied directly to the Family & Consumer Sciences, Early Childhood Education, Fashion Design and Teacher Cadet curricula. This competition provides learning experiences which contribute to the personal and career development of each student.

Basic information about the conference can be found on the State Leadership Conference page. Descriptions of each competitive event are available online here. Please complete the online form below or the R.S.V.P. (PDF) form indicating your ability to evaluate, and return it to Michigan FCCLA as soon as possible.

Each year we depend upon support from over 90 educators and community leaders to assist us at the conference. Hopefully, you will accept this invitation to serve as a evaluator The specific details of the event you will be judging will be explained to you at the evaluator’s orientation, held just prior to the actual competition.

Once again, thank you for your interest in assisting with Michigan FCCLA’s State Leadership Conference. Please feel free to call the office at 734-487-8657 or email Cindy Rodrigues if you have any questions or need additional information.
