Fall Leadership Conference Follow Up
Thank you to everyone that attended the Fall Leadership Conference!  Please mail or scan and e-mail your evaluations to me as soon as possible.  As always, I am eager to hear your feedback and make note of changes for next year.

Membership
The FCCLA Affiliation System is available online! - https://affiliation.registermychapter.com/fccla#

There are some updates to the system for the 2016-2017 school year and the National FCCLA Office has developed a tutorial video to walk chapter advisers through these processes. You can view the updates at - http://fcclainc.org/membership/join-fccla.php

Membership Dues are $19.00 per member if affiliated online by November 30, 2016.  Cost breakdown is $9.00 for national dues, and $10.00 for state dues.  The state dues include accident insurance for each member.  Each student must pay both the state and national dues.  Remember the minimum number of members is 12.

On December 1, 2016, the membership dues increase to $29.00 per member.  Cost breakdown is $9.00 for national dues, and $20.00 for state dues.

Affiliation System Tips
When you log into the chapter for the first time for the 2016-2017 year, the graduation process must be completed in order to move forward with affiliating students.  Seniors who graduated in the 2015-2016 school year should be moved to Alumni & Associated (A&A) and not deleted from the chapter.  Need help with this process?  View the instructional video or written instructions at http://fcclainc.org/membership/join-fccla.php

Are you having difficulty remembering the password from the previous year? Please use the Forgot Password link on the home page of the affiliation website. Once you have logged into your chapter, the password can be changed by clicking on the Chapter Adviser(s) tab and editing the password.  You can now also bypass the graduation confirmation page by clicking on the black Bypass button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.

As an existing chapter adviser (adviser in the system last year) has moved schools, you can be added to the chapter by clicking on the Chapter Adviser(s) tab and selecting the black Choose Existing Adviser button. This will display a list of all chapter advisers in the state and will allow you to move any existing adviser to the current chapter. If you no longer are active in the current chapter, please make the adviser inactive by clicking on the blue check mark under the Status column.

Gimme Five!
I'd really like to encourage every chapter to set a goal to achieve the Gimme Five! Award this year, by having at least 5 more members than last year.  If you're not sure how to recruit new members, there are some ideas on our website at - http://www.mifccla.org/membership/recruitment.html.  If fundraising is an issue, we also have quite a list of ideas at - http://www.mifccla.org/advisers/fundraising.html.  Your chapter’s Gimme 5! Award goal is posted at http://www.mifccla.org/membership/goals.html
