Michigan FCCLA was honored to attend the @teachgoldenapple Scholar Institute at @easternmichigan today! The future of education is so bright, and organizations like Golden Apple Scholars are paving new paths forward for those who dream of teaching. Michigan FCCLA members are encouraged to apply for the Golden Apple Scholars Program starting on September 1. It was also a pleasure to see EMU’s beautiful campus and the @coeemu ‘s Porter Building!

Thursday brought some once in a lifetime adventures, including FCCLA’s takeover of Capitol Hill at the Rock the Red Rally! Michigan FCCLA members united in red for education and FCS. The state officers conducted 3 legislative visits to share FC
Thursday brought some once in a lifetime adventures, including FCCLA’s takeover of Capitol Hill at the Rock the Red Rally! Michigan FCCLA members united in red for education and FCS. The state officers conducted 3 legislative visits to share FCCLA with Michigan’s representatives in the House and Senate. Thank you to @repscholten , @repwalberg and @senslotkin offices for meeting with us to learn about how FCCLA is empowering development of leaders in the future education workforce. The night concluded with the Adviser Recognition Session in which Michigan was very well represented!

Today, Michigan FCCLA’s own @bschuermanwx stepped in to interview the youngest competitor in this year’s delegation, Kenzy from Pickford! As a young sixth grader, Kenzy has taken full advantage of FCCLA to become career ready early in her life. She’s ready to become a future educator when she’s old enough to join her local CTE program!

As part of the Japanese Exchange Program with support from @nationalfccla , @kikkoman.jp and @yfuusa , they have spent this past year living in Michigan.
